Spiced Fudge Truffles

Here is a great recipe for Cinnamon Saffron cookies made with our GREENSPICE Saffron Butter and our Cinnamon Turmeric Spiced Fudge
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups of all purpose flour (you can substitute gluten free flour and add a teaspoon of guar gum)
- 1 cup of apple juice or apple cider
- 2/3 cup of raw sugar (you can substitute with brown sugar)
- 1 jar of GREENSPICE Saffron Butter
- 2 tablespoons of GREENSPICE Cinnamon Turmeric Spiced
- 1 egg (or egg substitute)
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
DIRECTIONS:
- Cream the Saffron Butter, sugar and Cinnamon Turmeric Spiced Fudge
- Add the apple juice (or cider) and slowly whisk (or use mixer at low setting)
- Add the flour and baking powder and slowly stir until fully incorporated
- Pour into your favorite cookie mold and bake at 350F until the cookies are light golden color
If you keep them in a tightly sealed container, they’ll keep moist for couple of weeks.
