These Lavender Butter cookies are easy to make and a great addition to any seasonal holiday or occasion.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 jars Greenspice Lavender Butter
- 1/2 cup powder sugar
- 2 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp cacao powder
DIRECTIONS:
- Cream the butter, sugar and vanilla
- Add the flour and mix until consistent
- Take out 1/2 the dough and add the cacao powder to the remaining half of the dough
- Mix until the cacao is incorporated - - - Now you will have 2 contrasted cookies
- Chill the dough for a couple of hours
- Roll ou the dough into a 1/4 inch thickness
- Cut the cookies using your favorite cutter and place them on a parchment lined pan
- Dust the cacao cookies with a bit of cacao before baking
- Add some sparkling sugar to the vanilla cookies
- Bake at 350F until firm (you should see a bit of golden color around the vanilla cookies)
These cookies keep well for several weeks in a tightly closed container.
